Daniel B. Lott, Jr.

Daniel B. Lott, Jr. (“Dan”) was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi on May 21, 1961. He spent his formative years in Metter, Georgia and in Hinesville, Georgia. He was graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology, with highest honors, in 1983. He was also graduated, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law, in 1991. While in law school, he was elected to the Order of the Wig and Robe and the Order of the Coif. He also served on the Student Editorial Board, as a Research Editor, for the American Bar Association Real Property, Probate and Trust Journal. In addition, while at USC, he served as a Student Legal Writing Instructor.

Dan was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1991. He is a former loan officer and branch manager of The Hinesville Bank (now The Heritage Bank), of Hinesville; and NCNB South Carolina (predecessor to Bank of America), in Beaufort, South Carolina. He served on the Board of Governors of the Savannah Chapter of the American Institute of Bankers, and he is a graduate of Leadership Beaufort.

Dan has served two terms on the Blue Ribbon Committee for school construction of Richland County School District One, and has also served as an elder of First Presbyterian Church in Hinesville, and of Shandon Presbyterian Church in Columbia.


Stephen D. Searcy

Stephen D. Searcy (“Steve”) was born in Bennettsville, South Carolina on August 25, 1970. He spent his formative years in Florence, South Carolina. He was graduated from Clemson University, cum laude, in Financial Management with a minor in Accounting. While at Clemson, Steve was a member of Kappa Alpha Order fraternity. He was also graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1995. While in law school, he was elected to the Order of the Wig and Robe and served on the Student Editorial Board for the American Bar Association Real Property, Probate and Trust Journal.

Steve was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1995. He is a member of the Columbia Capital Rotary Club and has served on the School Improvement Council of Brennen Elementary School, and has also served as a deacon of Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Columbia.
